16th Street Mall's grand opening was on October 4, 1982, and since then it has been a hotspot for tourists and locals. Unfortunately, when Covid-19 hit, people stopped going, and homeless people started to live there. However, recent construction started during the spring of 2022 to restore the past grandeur, and in my opinion, it looks great!
