(I know, I know...math is mean-BUT it doesn't have to be!)
Prime Factorization: is a way to find all the prime numbers in a composite number.
Ex. 24 The underlined numbers are the prime numbers and when
/ \ multiplied should add up to the start number.
12 x 2 = 24 (get it?) (you don't have to do all the blue highlighted stuff, it's just
/ \ to help you understand)
3 x 4 = 12 (starting to catch on???)

2 x 2 = 4 (i bet you already guessed that though...) ; )
You could also do it this way:

Math Vocab:
Prime Number:
- a number not divisible by any number greater than 1
Composite number
- a whole number that has more than two factors
Factor: - a number that divides another number without ending up with a remainder
